What happens on weekends?

What does one do in the evenings?

Evening programs are not part of the lifestyle instruction but are a time for social interaction and relaxation. Programs include live presentations by various staff and students from their overseas travels, musical programs, slide presentations, nature videos, and picnics when the weather permits.

Can any faith be accepted into your program?

Persons from all religious persuasions are welcome and have participated. Hartland’s program is presented from a Christian perspective, but unique religious beliefs are not taught as a part of the program. God is acknowledged as the Great Physician and Creator.

Will I enjoy the whole plant-based nutrition?

This is an excellent question and one we love to answer, YES! Although our dietary regimen maybe a new experience for many people, it is one of the highlights of the program. Our guests find our whole plant-based cuisine quite appealing and delicious, and they enjoy learning to prepare quick, tasty recipes in our “Practical Nutrition” class.

Can I bring a friend to support me to the program?

Yes, you can bring a friend to give you support.  The details for this option can be explained when you call and speak to one of our program specialists.

How should I dress?

The program is informal, including meal times, so dress comfortably to enjoy walking and exercising. You may wish to bring business casual attire for weekend activities. Don’t forget to bring warm clothes in winter!

My cat and I are inseparable. What can I do?

Unfortunately, we have no provision for pets. Since, at times, persons with the most severe allergies participate, we must decline all pets. Several kennels are available in the area.

My husband and I both work. What can we do about our children?

The nature of this program is not appropriate for children, so we recommend that you take this opportunity to get much-needed rest and make arrangements for the care of your children by others while you are here with us.

What happens if I change my mind about coming through the program?

The deposit of $300 is non-refundable.

Someone said you don’t have a television. Is that true?

No, it is not true. There are TVs in the common areas for lectures and selected health videos.

The intensive program offers hydrotherapy designed to enhance the immune system and remove toxins from the body. The hydrotherapy includes infrared sauna, hyperthermal and charcoal baths.

Will I receive support after I complete the cancer care intensive program and return home?

You will certainly receive support as you adapt to a new lifestyle, your program includes a 3-month cancer coaching program and you can extend this program up to one year.

This is what we do.

The 17-day Intensive Cancer Care Program™ is designed to offer a wholistic approach to health and healing. The mind, body and spirit are intimately connected, and each must be cared for to heal the body of disease. The body works best through nature’s process of healing and upbuilding. Nature, untrammeled, does her work wisely and well. Our program uses non-toxic methods such as hydrotherapy treatments, whole plant-based nutrition, herbal teas, vitamin C infusions, and ozone therapies to work with your natural immune system.

Impurities are constantly thrown off from the body. Proper detoxification enhances the circulation and aids in the treatment of disease. Our body needs specific support to fight against toxins produced by cancer. We offer quality nutrition, exercise, hydrotherapy, dry skin brushing, coffee enemas, and the use of charcoal to eliminate toxins from the body.

Whole grains, fruits, nuts, legumes, and vegetables are the foods supported by multiple scientific studies that can lower cancer risks. Plants are loaded with phytochemicals that protect and restore the body at a cellular level. We serve high quality, nutrient packed, plant-based meals and juices. Our organic gardens and greenhouses supply us with an abundance of fresh vegetables to enhance the nutrition our guests.

Fresh air, sunlight, self-control, rest, exercise, proper nutrition and hydration, and trust in divine power are the true remedies of health. We believe every person should have a knowledge of nature’s remedial agencies and understand how to apply them. Our program provides many presentations and resources to equip you in your daily living.

The connection between the mind and the body is very intimate. When one is affected, the other sympathizes. Grief, anxiety, discontent, remorse, guilt, distrust, all tend to break down physical health. Through life coaching, counseling and prayer our program is designed to instill courage, hope, faith, sympathy, and love.

True healing continues at home! Therefore, education and practical training are a big part of the intensive program. It is our goal to help each guest implement in their home environment what they have learned and experienced here. Through training sessions, demonstrations, informative cancer, and lifestyle lectures, and cancer coaching our guests are equipped and empowered for success.
