Hartland And ASI Unite for Mission
On God's Fiery Call
Messages throughout the weekend issued a clear, unified call to personal revival and active engagement in evangelism, urging every attendee to move beyond passive belief into intentional, practical ministry.
From April 10–12, the campus of Hartland College in Rapidan, Virginia, became a hub of spiritual energy and purpose as the Spring Convocation event joined forces with the Adventist-Laymen’s Services & Industries (ASI) Columbia Union Chapter meeting themed, God’s Fiery Call: Called to Stand on Holy Ground (Exodus 3). This unified gathering brought together students, ministry leaders, business owners, and lay members for a concentrated weekend of worship, training, and fellowship centered on advancing the gospel mission.
From Passive Belief to Personal Evangelism
Convention speakers challenged attendees to deeper commitment and active service, including Eric Flickinger (It Is Written Associate Speaker). Cody Francis (ASI secretary-treasurer), Celeste Ryan-Blyden (Columbia Union Executive Secretary, ASI liaison), and Teenie Finley (Living Hope School of Evangelism). Together, their messages formed a cohesive appeal for revival, equipping attendees with both conviction and practical direction for frontline ministry.
Wellness Center Spotlight
The Hartland Wellness Center Missionary Spotlight featured updates on the Center’s expanding 2026 initiatives. One ASI member responded to a prayer request appeal by donating an Far Infrared Dome for the treatment of Wellness Center guests. Attendees were deeply impacted by the testimony of Ms. Rhonda Bendell, a former Wellness Center guest whose cancer remains in remission as she continues to faithfully apply the HARTLAND Eight Laws of Health.
Members of the ASI Columbia Union Executive Committee experienced the Wellness Center firsthand sharing a Sabbath lunch at the Center; participating in a guided tour of the facility; and gaining insight into Center programs, patient experience, and evangelistic model.
