A Journey of Healing and Hope on Wellness Program Graduation Day

On March 17, a spirit of gratitude and quiet triumph filled the Hartland Wellness Center as Ms. Tamara Brown, affectionately known as Ms. Tammy, celebrated her graduation from the 17-Day Cancer Care wellness program.  Her journey, marked by courage, faith, and perseverance, culminated in a heartfelt ceremony that reflected physical renewal and spiritual transformation.

From the moment Ms. Tammy arrived, she was embraced by our Wellness Center community committed to whole-person healing.  Throughout her stay, she experienced attentive care from staff and students who worked in harmony, creating an atmosphere of unity and compassion. In her remarks, Ms. Tammy expressed deep appreciation for the love she felt, noting that every interaction and moment of encouragement contributed meaningfully to her healing journey.

Scripture reminds us, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth” (3 John 1:2).  This guiding principle was evident throughout Ms. Tammy’s time at the Wellness Center, where physical care was thoughtfully paired with spiritual nurture.  The environment fostered restoration of hope and purpose.

Counsel from the Spirit of Prophecy echoes HARTLAND’s holistic vision: Hydrotherapy, Air, Rest, Temperance, Light, Activity, Nutrition, Divine Power.  These principles were lived out daily, forming the foundation of Ms. Tammy’s experience and progress.

A moving testimony came from the retired nurse who accompanied Ms. Tammy during the program.  Having spent years in the medical field, she reflected on how this experience was unlike any she had previously encountered. She shared that the genuine interactions with staff, combined with daily worships and Bible studies on the book of Daniel, rekindled her spiritual life and deepened her love for Jesus.  Her words underscored the unique integration of faith and health that defines the program.

As the ceremony concluded, smiles, embraces, and words of encouragement filled the room and were a testament to the bonds formed over the 17 days. Staff, students, and guests alike rejoiced in what had been accomplished, giving glory to God for His sustaining grace. Ms. Tammy completed the program determined to continue the positive lifestyle changes she discovered in the Wellness Center program.

Ms. Tammy’s graduation is more than a milestone.  It is a witness to what can happen when compassionate care and faith come together.  Her journey stands as an encouragement to others seeking healing, reminding us all of the promise in Jeremiah 30:17: “For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord.”

Indeed, March 17 will be remembered as a day of renewal, celebration, and enduring hope.
