A Generous Gift That Supports Healing

On February 13, the Hartland Wellness Center received a generous donation from Dr. James Zackrison, Adjunct Professor of Early Christian History at Hartland College, and Mrs. Leila Zackrison, founder of Innovative Vitality Coaching.  With hearts devoted to service and mission, the Zackrisons generously donated a 26-foot U-Haul container packed with medical equipment, lifestyle and office furnishings, and essential supplies to the Wellness Center.

Dr. Reid, the Wellness Center Director, told Hartland media, “The donated items will directly enhance our wellness environment, improving both the quality of support we offer and the comfort of those who come seeking healing,”  The items the Wellness Center received will be incorporated into wellness and administrative areas, helping to strengthen day-to-day operations.

A striking moment was the arrival of the 26-foot U-Haul container itself, filled to capacity, symbolizing abundance and provision.  Staff and volunteers worked together to receive, unload, and organize the materials with gratitude and purpose.

Wellness Center staff recognize that such generosity reflects God’s providence in providing for the needs of ministry.  As Scripture reminds us, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above” (James 1:17).  We are grateful to Dr. and Mrs. Zackrison for their support of the Wellness Center and its mission.  The Spirit of Prophecy counsels, “We are to be channels through which the Lord can communicate His light and grace to the world” (Ellen G. White, The Ministry of Healing, p. 36).  Acts of generosity such as this serve as practical expressions of that calling.
